How to delete wall and doors styles from template file

In our template file someone has created lots of temporary wall and door styles which we don't need. Anybody got any idea on how do I delete them? I'm using AutoCAD  Architecture 2019.

From what I recall you can purge them out with the purge command in architecture.

If it won't let you purge, it's because they're still being referenced somehow (possibly in a block somewhere in the drawing).

I've tried this. I created a new file, used just one wall style, no windows or doors etc.purged it and all the other walls, doors and windows etc are still there.
