samifox Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 hi im using acad 2020, when come the time to plot i find myself wasting time measuring the sheet hight, and than defining a new sheet , new paper size , padding, etc. is there an addon or someting so the sheet can be created automatically according to the paperspace or any rectangle bounderies? CyberAngel Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 If you have a finite number of sheet sizes/layouts, you can add them to your template. It's a lot easier to delete a layout than to create a new one. Ideally, you should only have to define a page setup once. When you copy a layout, the page setup goes along with it. 2 Quote
rkmcswain Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Agree with @CyberAngel - spend the time to create the layout(s) you need one time, in your template drawing. Even if you end up working on drawings created by someone else, you can import the layout into that drawing for use. 2 Quote
