Hello, when I  draw a rectangle stating at an intersection of 2 lines, the long side always has a slope of 30 degrees from the horizontal.

How do I  stop this happening please?  Polar tracking is off, orthogonal is on, object snap is on

Type 'UCS' <enter> followed by 'W' <enter>

If that doesn't help a screenshot might give us a clue as to what needs changing

That certainly did not work. Screen shot attached. This time it drew an inclined rectangle, and it was all white. Never had this problem before.

Because various system variables are saved in the drawing, it helps others to track down unwanted happenings if you can post a copy of the actual drawing. Saves on blind guesswork.

Are you in an isometric view?

Never mind. It has no bearing on the problem.
