Jest Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 In AutoCAD Map 3D 2021, I'm trying to import EPSG 3794 as Xml file, dowloaded from https://epsg.io/3794#google_vignette , using MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT command. Action failed and I receive an error message at the end: "Command: MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT Import Coordinate System Library DefinitionsInvalid xml file content." Is there any other option to import or define it? Can someone help me? Kind regards Quote

Is there any other option to import or define it? Can someone help me? Kind regards Certainly! It seems that you’re encountering an issue while trying to import EPSG 3794 as an XML file using the MAPCSLIBRARYIMPORT command in AutoCAD Map 3D 2021. The error message indicates “Invalid XML file content.” Here are a couple of alternative approaches you can consider Update EPSG Codes Unfortunately, AutoCAD Map 3D does not directly allow users to update EPSG codes themselves. However, you can check if there are any EPSG code updates in the newer versions of AutoCAD Map 3D (e.g., Map 3D 2020 or later). Sometimes newer versions include additional coordinate systems. If you find a newer version that supports EPSG 3794, consider upgrading to that version. Use ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online If you have access to ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, you can follow this alternative method: Log in to ArcGIS Pro using the same ArcGIS Online account. Import the raster into ArcGIS Pro. Share the layer as a Web Layer and configure tile settings. Publish the layer to ArcGIS Online. Set the Share settings to “Everyone.” Obtain the URL for the published layer. In AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D, use the WMTS FDO provider and paste the URL to view the raster. This approach allows you to work with unsupported raster images indirectly through ArcGIS Online. Quote
