Koko_NYC Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Currently running ACAD 2017 on W10 X64. My Logitech M310 will NOT pan or zoom and I no longer want to try to fix this - tried everything over a period of a year and I am done with this mouse for CAD. My backup mouse I am currently using is a Microsoft Model 1383 but pan and zoom wheel seems to be too "sensitive" and whenever I try to pan, it zooms all over the screen. Not sure if this is adjustable, but I am open for suggestions to make the Microsoft Mouse work better with ACAD. Currently it is tolerable but I can't fine tune it. Alternatively I could use a recommendation for a new basic mouse which functions well with AutoCAD. I don't need programmable buttons, just the freaking wheel to work and pan/zoom when needed. This is driving me a little crazy, so any help would be welcome. Quote
BIGAL Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 You can change some of the mouse settings under windows type "mouse" bottom left. I guess like lots here mine just works a no name brand. Quote
guran Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 In AutoCad a double click on the Zoom Wheel gives a zoom extents. Many of us have problems with this, because you do it by mistake all the time. Quote
Dadgad Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) Have you checked your ZOOMFACTOR system variable, as shown in the screenshot? Are you working on a 4K Monitor with ACAD 2017 maybe? I have used Logitech mice quite a bit on AutoCad without any conspicuous issues. RTDISPLAY possibly? Edited September 9, 2020 by Dadgad Another option/screenshot Quote
RobDraw Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Have you tired uninstalling the Logitech software? Quote
