Hi, Need to know if someone can help me with make a script or Lisp or they have it already, looking for some who have it that you can change such as Utilities (like sanitary, storm, gas, electric and more ) to  our Company standard layers automatic because I kept doing manually every time we have to have a NEW Base plan to make. I appreciate so much help or response to my question. I know there's a lot of members here  were very wise , well experienced and intelligent here in this forum.

Thanks a lot in at advanced. I attached a screen shot.

I posted something similar HERE

This moves objects to existing layers

If the utilities are on individual layers then use rename, you can write a simple script or lisp to do it. You will have to run prior to inserting into your company dwt as can not rename a layer if it exists. As per Dlanorh

-Rename la Elec Electricity

Hi to Both Guru & Dlanorh,

Thank you very much.  I didn't try it yet but will try tomorrow if it works the LISP I download thru  AutoCad website forum.

Question does this Lisp can Automatically change from Utilities to STD Company Layers?

I did tried but it shows below, what's next sorry I not familiar with lisp? It's  looking for layers maybe?

Thank you again. God Blessed both of you.Capture.thumb.JPG.1502e3dac341320b6e5d1c715d2caf31.JPG

You need to make a file using notepad read the link.

 "OLDLAYERNAME","NEWLAYERNAME", one old,new per line

I created the .rly file with the old layers and new layers listed. when i run the command, and it's asking for a .rly, the file is not showing up.

Assuming you used notepad or similar to make the rly file - did you change the file type dialogue to *.* type or leave it as *.txt.

Go to the file with say, file explorer and see if you can find it there, then see what the file extension is and a 3rd option is to save the file as a plain text file, and then change the file type afterwards
