dlanorh Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 This may HELP Although there is a previous vlax call, it could be No 3 or No 4, probably No 4. Quote
BIGAL Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 When in doubt Google https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/visual-lisp-autolisp-and-general/remove-all-hatchings-from-blocks-and-nested-blocks-help/td-p/2368840 Yep it works. Quote

It seems, you are correct. The antivirus software may be interfering and doing some registry clean up causing this error. Since the antivirus is controlled by office administration, I can neither disable nor uninstall it. It would be of great help if you can suggest some alternate work around . Thanks Quote

This page has an attachment at the bottom to replace the missing registry files, if that is the cause. READ IT CAREFULLY as it is setup for AutoCAD 2020 but explains what to do for earlier versions. The answer is there @BIGAL I did , but after going through the post shared by @dlanorh I realized that this issue is with all the lisp using vlax functions. Probably, due to my antivirus software interfering and registry cleanup. So , I wanted to eliminate the root cause. Quote

HERE Thanks @dlanorh for this article. Before trying this out, I searched the internet and common suggestions were to firstly try repairing and updating the AutoCAD. Luckily, after repairing and updating the AutoCAD , this lisp started working fine. Thanks , I got to learn much about troubleshooting ! 1 Quote
