Making a mold from T-spline

I am having problems making a mold of a human body T-spline.  I created the solid to receive the mold and launched the "Combine" function under Modify but I cannot select the T-spline.  Any thoughts?

 

I'm sure it is very simple- I'm just getting started learning the software.
