SLW210 Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Maybe, not sure what that Genius stuff is from. I did several things to your drawing and saved and saved and saved some more in AutoCAD 2018 and sized stayed pretty much the same. Maybe someone else with more time can dig deeper for you. Quote

SLW210 Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Like I stated, no slow saves on my computer with AutoCAD 2018 (that's even with me remoted into the computer at work), so I would say that it is an AutoCAD Mechanical issue and/or an issue with your computer, possibly some settings. I used to avoid using any Mechanical specific things unless needed, way back when I used Mechanical, though I don't recall any problems, but it has been a while. Quote

SLW210 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 I do believe you can just use the Core AutoCAD part. You might head over to the Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical Forums and see if that is a common or at least solved issue or some work arounds available. But, yes an upgrade may help. Quote
