Circular chain of references error message.

Hi All,

 

Further to my previous post about steelwork in masonry I'm trying to add some voids into my walls so that the inner leaf of masonry looks like it stops either side of the column.

Workflow:

Model In place ---> Family category walls ---> Name it ---> model void extrusion ---> cut geometry, select extrusion and wall ---> click finish button. Then I get this error message that can't be ignored "There is a circular chain of references among the highlighted elements." (image attached)

 

Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
