drafix cad ultra V4.20 (DOS) Importing

So  I have 2 CAD programs drafix cad ultra V4.20 (DOS) and cadstat pro v3.7.5

I have exported from cadstat a DXF drawing to a USB A drive, My dos program wants the "file name and it's path on the command line, for example,     C:\dfx\dwg\ drawing name.dxf"

DOS program imports and exports as Autocad.dxf, It's asking "select file name  > C:\dfx\)(.dxf"  <-----wants me to type here  

So I want to put in A:\dfx\dwg\br549.dxf ------does not work

have you tried exporting just to C instead of your A drive? then just copy to your A after

What is the name of the folder the drawing is stored in on your USB drive?  If it is DXF then your path would be A:\DXF\br549.dxf.  If it is DWG then the path would be A:\DWG\br549.dxf.  If it is a subfolder then the root and subfolder names would have to be included in the path.  Example:  Let's say I have a file named 1234.dxf and it is stored in the subfolder DXF under the root folder DWG.  Then the path would be A:\DWG\DXF\1234.dxf.
