Is it possible to skew a 3D object along one axis? I think what I mean by 'skew' is pretty obvious, but just in case, I'm uploading this diagram:

maybe the stretch command, and just do a crossing window on the edge you want to move up or down...

The stretch command seems to do nothing but move the object. Maybe I'm not doing the cross window correctly. What is a cross window and how do I do one?

guess it doesnt work on 3d objects, just tried it on a box and it moved it like you said...let me see what else i can try.

Im assuming the object your trying to do it to is not as simple as the diagram on your first post...correct?

I cant seem to find any way to do it, but im sure there is. Seeing how I dont use 3D commands very often (never!) im not the best one to answer your question. Im sure someone will come along and give more insight to wether in can or cant be done...

sorry

I've never seen a skew command for AutoCAD solids. What exactly are you trying to skew. Perhaps slicing a section off, rotating it, and unioning a filler piece will suffice?

Depends what type of object it is. If its like a simple 3d solid box, you can play around with its sub-objects (vertices, edge, face) and move them around. U rarely though have to mess around with its sub objects.
