mshearer Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 This might be a strange request, but is it possible to control the speed at which ACAD zooms during zoom extents? We have a bet going in the office and I'm trying to help someone win it. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 From what I know, there is no way to do that, but than again what do I know? Quote
wannabe Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 If you know how to program then there most likely is a way. But a setting? Not sure. Quote
ReMark Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Drop a million objects in there and spend them out over light-years (AutoCAD can handle that) and I bet you could affect the speed of Zoom > Extents. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Im kinda interested in how this came up at your work? Did someone get mad cause it zoomed to fast, than someonelse was like "you know you can change the speed of that" and the other guy was no you cant and the other guy was yes you can...and so on and so forth. ReMark Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Slow day at work. They had to either argue about something or someone is heavy into betting on just about anything. Quote
lpseifert Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Look into the sysvars Vtenable, Vtduration, Vtfps Quote
mshearer Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 Stevsmith: Much thanks. Not sure how it came up. It was a slow day...for sure. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I messed with vtoptions but i am not seeing a difference???? Quote
stevsmith Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I messed with vtoptions but i am not seeing a difference???? It works in vanilla. It gives you an optin to turn on the zoom animation, see if it is on. If it is off and adjust the rate it will not work. Quote
