I want to write a block rename tools which will have the user interface like the "refedit" command , which will show nested block reference, so it will be eaiser to rename the nested block. And it would be nice to have the block thumbnails icon show too. I know there are a command "blockicon" which will generate the block references' icon in design center, but can we have routine to access these icon in visual lisp?

I mean  this icon:

You could make use of my DCL Block Preview function.

You are literally a mine, Lee. Always digg out good things. It definitely serves my purpose, but I find it's a little laggy when block has many line? How can I tune to limit the complexity of the preview? I need no more point list than helping me recognize which block  is which.
