abraxus Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I have recently discovered BricsCAD thanks to some people in this forum and was pleased to see that the Pro version fully supported .NET development like the full version of AutoCAD does, and in addition, the object model seems to be basically identical, so I didnt have to change much in order to convert the AutoCAD .NET code I wrote to work with BricsCAD. The price is comparable to AutoCAD LT (which I am to understand in no way supports .NET or any other similar customizing features), but it is still a bit pricey. Are there any other alternatives that support .NET development in such a way which may prove to be cheaper than BricsCAD? I wouldnt need all the fancy 3D stuff, just some basic 2D functionality. TerryDotson Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Yes, the ITC (IntelliCAD Consortium) has been working hard over roughly the past two years adding .NET support to IntellICAD. There are several OEMs of the IntellICAD Engline and I believe nearly all of them include .NET support. One of our favorites is the CMS IntelliCAD which weighs in less than BricsCAD Classic. 1 Quote
