Oscar Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 (edited) I made my grid 1 to 1 so its not a distorted scale. here are the instructions I drew the line from station 2+00-elevation 580 @ 17 degree angle to elevation 540. now I have to draw the curves and I dont even know what a ""Bending Radius" is or drawing a 28 degree arc at a bending radius of 1000' ??? Im sure I am supposed to use "Profile Creation tools" to draw this profile line. need help Edited June 25, 2019 by Oscar Quote
lrm Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Here's my interpretation using AutoCAD. Note that the total length of the green curve is about 900'. The 700' you reference does not include the 11° exit slope. The center of the 1000' bend is located on a line perpendicular to the 17° line. 1 Quote
steven-g Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 WOW the degree of accuracy in those instructions is underwhelming is it 130' or 136.8121????' WIth an approximate total length of 794.6157' or there abouts. I would worry about the 0.0001 difference between total length shown in the properties palette of 794.6157 as opposed to adding up the shown dimensions 794.6156 but this is just an approximation and I may have miss read the instructions. 1 Quote

He had me plot the 1:1 profile to a pdf and told me to have them sketch it. Quote
