In between then and now I have made up a block LISP routine which takes data from a text file (line coordinates generally), writes them to a block and inserts them in the drawing, all from a command line prompt. For the blocks I use all the time this is a lot quicker than even the AutoCAD 'Inset' command, for example "blkearth" insets an electrical earth symbol Guess what these do.. 'point', 'stop' 'OK' 'thumb' and 'xfingers'. My original plan was a few keyboard presses and insert the block, perfect for when am sitting with the engineers going through stuff. Maybe it is time I made a few more up - now I have made up the LISPs getting their coordinate data is quick for me, just need to make them look a little less evil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
