cat3appr Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 I have this chart , where in paper space has 2 plan viewports, each of which represents a different version of the same drawing, in model space, The left model space shows the "before" contours, the right paperspace shws "after " contours, and the 2 viewports n paper space shows this. How do I do this? cause when i try to work on the left model space, ,, also the right model space gets changed... and i need them to be separate thank you! Quote
CyberAngel Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 If I understand your question properly (and I'm not sure I do), you probably need one layer for the "before" features and another for the "after." Turn on the "before" layer(s) in the "before" viewport and the "after" layer(s) in the "after" viewport. You may also need a third (set of) layers for features that are common to both scenarios. I had to do that for a landfill that had one set of contours for current conditions and other sets for future phases. There were four or five overlapping plans in all. Talk about complicated! Quote
BIGAL Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 (edited) Cyberangel is on the money each surface can go on its own layer so use that for on & off, You need to make layer but can pick surface then in properties change layer. or Edited May 3, 2019 by BIGAL Quote
