Autocad 13 and 14 have a delay of a second to a few seconds after each command i issue. the computer freezez and executes the command.
I think it didn't happen all the time before.
It's a mid class laptop, Toshiba Porteje Z30, 8 GB RAM, 64 Bit
I think it doesn't happen on an other laptop i have.
I use the same CUI file on both versions, maybe that's the fault?

AutoCAD 13 and 14 are real old and did not come in 64 bit versions. How are you getting them to run?

R13 runs just fine on Win 10 😇

Hmmm, I guess I never tried to run my 2000 version. I just assumed that it wouldn't work. That would mean installing a disk drive in order to test it out, which is probably why I never tried. Nope, that's not it. Draftsight was a better option when I needed my own CAD software than 2000.

What is of interest in the r13 is the screen menu sidebar it was a real usefull tool it was simple to program as its a text file, yes you can turn it on, but compared to say using a dcl list for choices much easier.

Since the OP mentions the CUI, I would speculate they meant AutoCAD 2013 and 2014.
