prakashreddy Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 HI, Please someone suggest me how to recover .lsp files. I tried so many recovery software's but actual code files can't get. Thanks. Quote
rkmcswain Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Data is stored on hard drives as ones and zeros. Part of the hard drive contains a map, that tells the O/S where the various bits of the data is stored. When a file is deleted, the data is not really deleted, but instead the area where the data is stored is marked "available for use" and the map that tells the O/S where to find the data is deleted. Recovery software attempts to build the map again, and if the data has not been overwritten, it can usually be reassembled. But once those areas of disk are overwritten by newer data, the previous data is gone. This is what making backup copies is important. Especially with things like cryptoware out there. Good luck. 1 Quote

prakashreddy Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 HI Bigal, I didn't mean to make duplicate post. I asked format problem in other post and In this post i requested for any recovery software to recover lisp files. Quote
Steven P Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Not sure if this will help, in Windows 10 (I think that's what we use), right click on the folder and there is an option "Restore previous versions" - not sure if that helps. Obviously the sooner you notice you need to recover files the better chance you have. I would copy the existing folder somewhere before you restore since any changes since the restore point will be rolled back to the restore point. This will restore the whole folder and then you should get the files you need. Quote
BIGAL Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Should have asked in other post, if you google "undelete files win 10" you should find plenty of answers a limited use is free. Did you check the recycle bin you can restore a file. Quote
