samifox Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Hi i have a drawing with 36 layouts, it takes a long time to generate them i have "cache all layouts" on it takes an average of 25 seconds to generate each layout for the first time is there a way to automate the first regeneration of all laouts at once? , Thanks S Quote
maratovich Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Not. You can turn off all viewports, then there will be a quick switch between tabs. If you need to edit the desired viewport - just turn it on only. Quote
BIGAL Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 How can you work in all 36 layouts ? I had 88 layouts 1 dwg, ok so if I was making some new ones thay were empty then I added details. If I needed to do edits went directly to correct one. I guess what I am saying is why would you step through all 36 ? Just go to the one you want thats why I wrote GOTO.lsp just type 99 go to last layout tab goto-layout.lsp Quote
tombu Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Simple, just never set Layout Regen Options to "Cache model all layouts". My PC hardware is rather weak though, had to do a layout with 40 viewports for a special project that took over 20 minutes to generate. Quote
Suki 19 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Dont ever put dashed line as the deafult line of viewport, it made me mad. Took so long to generate. Best wishes! Suvad Quote
