ABAKAM BASSEY ABAKAM Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Given a specified radius of an arc, how do I draw an arc with that given or specified radius? Lets say; an arc with a radius of 15mm. Quote
BIGAL Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 There are many ways to draw an arc one being two points and radius. If you look up HELP about Arc you should see the various options. Quote

eldon Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Besides the obvious way of using the command ARC, you could Fillet with the radius set. It all depends on what you are doing. Quote
SLW210 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 What else about the Arc is known? Do you have a .dwg example? Besides the above mentioned ways, you could draw a circle of needed radius and trim as needed. Quote

ReMark Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Apparently you are unaware that AutoCAD gives the user eleven different ways to draw an arc. One of those ways is called RADIUS. The user is prompted to select both the start point and endpoint. AutoCAD then draws the arc. -Re: HELP command. Press F1 while hovering over a tooltip or when command is active to display Help for that command. Quote
BIGAL Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) Like ReMark just type HELP at the command line is another way, scroll down and it has examples of the different methods. Re pdf left side do a circle and trim Right side fillet with radius 0.0 Edited March 26, 2019 by BIGAL Quote
