toxicsquall Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 I'm having a hard time: I'm creating a middle line in the center of a road route, to verify the distance traveled by trucks. To do this, I create a 3dpolyline by connecting the edges of the path and then create a 3D POLYLINE by clicking on the midpoint of each polyline to draw a median route. As they are many, it is being a complicated job, since I have to click on the midpoint of each one to generate the 3D line that I need. Is there any lisp that can already do this, remembering that it needs to be 3D? Quote
dlanorh Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Is this just to construct the center 3dpolyline or to include the connecting lines? If the latter are both of the edges 3dpolylines? A drawing (AutoCAD 2010) containing only the edges would help. Quote
BIGAL Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 (edited) If you search for pline co-cords by me , 3D pline returns the z value as well, I am on IPad so no code. You can make a list of 3d points. Edited February 6, 2019 by BIGAL Quote
toxicsquall Posted February 18, 2019 Author Posted February 18, 2019 To explain better this time, I put in attachment the file. Like in this image in the link below: Road Example EXAMPLE.dwg Quote
BIGAL Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) A search would have found this solution. But you need to clean up your drawing before running make single plines. https://autocadtips1.com/2013/05/15/autolisp-advanced-polyline-offset/ Edited February 18, 2019 by BIGAL Quote
