whosa Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hi, I would like to draw 2d pipes with fillet corner. I need something works like: Pich the center line digit the diameter of the pipe Right now I use Offset command but it is a bit complicated make the corner "curved". Any of you know some lisp? Thanks Quote
Jim Clayton Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Assuming I understand what you're asking, you could use Lee Mac's Double Offset Lisp. Draw the centerline, with fillet corner to adjacent line. Then apply lisp and select the centerline. If you go one step further and join everything you'd only have to select a single line. Might not be exactly what you're after but if definitely makes things go faster. DoubleOffsetV1-1.lsp 1 Quote
whosa Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 Thanks for your reply. I would like to get something like the picture attached (fillet on the vertex of the line), not a simple offset. Quote
ronjonp Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Look at THIS thread too .. plenty of examples. 1 Quote
eldon Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 If the centre line has the corners filleted, then offsetting the centre line would give you what is needed. Quote
Jim Clayton Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I think my words might've gotten in the way with my description. Quote
BIGAL Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) I am sure this exists here already, have a look at lee-mac.com he may have something, google I am positive I have seen this recently. It just asks for vertice points and fillets as it goes. Will try to find for you. OK Fillet Polyline, R, enter radius, pick pline its filleted, then offset, erase original pline. Found some time just pick pline points then press enter. pline by pick pts offset with rad.lsp GETVALS3.lsp Edited January 29, 2019 by BIGAL 1 Quote

BIGAL Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 No worries a pretty easy one. Could be way smarter in its lengths input. Check out Tharwats website has some good stuff may be useful. Quote
