sage12 Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 My colleague has just showed me something that is happening in the drawing he is working on (made originally by a client with their own dim style). When he is using the annotation aligned tool to measure a road width in one part of the drawing, the text is placed in the correct rotation (i.e. the right way up when looking at the drawing on the screen). If he does the same measurement in another part of the drawing, the dimension text is upside down. It doesnt seem to matter which way you draw the line (i.e. right to left or left to right). Is this something to do with the styles? or just an odd quirk or something simple? Thanks, Rich Quote
CyberAngel Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 The only way I can reproduce the issue is to toggle the View Direction setting. Is it possible that the style definition has changed? As always, it would help to have more information, especially a drawing that includes the relevant objects. 1 Quote
Incognito Cube Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I know I'm a little late, and the odds of reply are low, but @sage12 can you post the drawing in question? Or let us know what you and your colleague found out? Quote
BIGAL Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Is the style annotative and the direction set to view if you have a ucs set it will change angle. Quote
