Ashishs
Hi, Is it possible to develop a routine which will change the colour of selected dimensions to say colour no. 10. It should change colour of dimension lines & arrows and text as well for any dimension type or leader. Thanks in advance. Regards, Ashish
Lee Mac
I would suggest copying your Dimension Style, changing the colour properties as appropriate and then applying such style to your selection of dimensions - this way, your drawing will not contain objects with overrides.
Ashishs
Hi Lee Mac, Thanks for the suggestion. I have several drawings where I just need to change few of all dimensions to red color. Its time consuming to import your saved dimension style every time in each drawing. Just looking for a command which can do this quickly. BIGAL
Whats time consuming about typing "dolee'sthing" it just makes the dim style if it does not exist. Save it in an acaddoc etc or in my case our library lisp. Its the sort of thing thats an option in our pull down menus. Do a google for creating a dimension style it will be out there, we can help and advise where to save the code. like 3rd option down on a google around 5 seconds https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47835301/use-autolisp-to-generate-new-dimension-style Edited November 2, 2018 by BIGAL
