Cad64 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 I just checked your dxf file and I see that your polylines have a thickness of 2. Try changing the thickness to 0 and then import to Watergems and see if that solves the problem. The polyline thickness might be causing Watergems to read the polylines as polygons instead of polylines. Quote
Cad64 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 After further investigation of your file, I'm very confused about how you created these polylines? I went into Orbit mode and spun your model around and zoomed in on an intersection and I see your polylines not only have thickness, but also width, see image below. They look more like 3D solids than polylines. So I'm wondering, how did you create these? Quote
Cad64 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Ok, I just changed the Thickness of the lines to 0 and then ran the PEDIT command and changed the Width to 0 and that finally gave me simple polylines. Try doing this to all the lines in your file, then import to Watergems and see what happens. Quote
lucky9 Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 Thanks for the reply ! 8 hours ago, Cad64 said: I'm very confused about how you created these polylines? Actually, I didn't create these lines, the drawing was sent to me for working in watergems. 8 hours ago, Cad64 said: Ok, I just changed the Thickness of the lines to 0 and then ran the PEDIT command and changed the Width to 0 and that finally gave me simple polylines. lucky9 Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 It didn't work, Please have a look at the image below: In preview window it shows only one single entity of Area type. Quote
SLW210 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 How are you importing this into WaterGEM? Did you ask on the Bentley Communities? Quote

That's the only advice I can offer. If it didn't work then you will need to talk to someone who uses Watergem. I have no experience with that program. Good luck. Quote
eldon Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 There seems to be an updated DXF file for you where you posted on the Bentley forum. Quote
