zoom extents drawing problems

Good morning,

When I zoom extents in Autocad 2016, the bottom of title block drawing is behind the command line bar. It used to not be that way and not on other users. When they zoom extents, bottom of their drawings are above command line bar. Also, another pain is that when I plot drawings, the plot balloon is behind command line bar and i can't close it. I have to stretch command bar line area to the left to close balloon notification.. I have closed command line bar and reopened it to no avail. What setting can fix my problem.

To eliminate the obvious, is the command line docked? If it's floating, it will block the drawing. If you can stretch it, it's probably floating.

I have found my answer by doing the following:

 

Solution:

1. Go to the CUI editor by typing CUI command.
2. Go to Customize tab and select your (current) workspace.
3. On the right side expand Palettes and click on Command Line under there.
4. Move to the Properties below and set Orientation to something like Bottom.
5. Click Apply and close dialog.
