Central Model with DROPBOX as server

Hello folks,

 

In our office, we use DropBox, rather than having like a R:\ drive or physical server inside the office. With dropbox being used, how do you have multiple users working on a central model??

You don't, unless you want to corrupt your file. 

 

The only viable options are:

• Local Sever with mapped drive (no cost)
• BIM 360 Team Service (subscription cost)
• Revit Server (no cost)

We use BIM 360 Team. For the price, I cannot duplicate this with an I.T. company (in-house or outside vendor) dollar for dollar. It's the best option IMHO.
