Hi

We use AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and various other programs and wanted to know what kind of PC would be best for these programs? Some DWG files we receive are between 50-100mbs and are hard to deal with!

All versions of the programs are the newest.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

If you never render any 3D images then you can skip the i7 cpu based systems and get an i5 based 6 core unit. 16 gb of ram if not 32 gb. A 512 gb or 1 tb M.2 PCIe NVME SSD hard drive for maximum speed and at least an Nvidia GTX 1050ti video card.
I like Dells so...Dell XPS for business tower = $1,499.99
Intel Core i5-8400 6-core
Windows 10 Pro
32 gb DDR4

512 gb M.2 PCIe x4 SSD +2 TB hdd
GTX 1050ti 4 gb

Thanks very much, I will have a look as I'm based in the UK.

Definitely, don't skimp on the RAM. When dealing with large file sizes, like Photoshop files, the more RAM the better. I have 24 GB of RAM in my current computer, but when I make my next purchase, I'll be going with 32 GB.

Hi

Can anyone recommend a PC that would match that kind of spec above?

Maybe the Dell XPS range would be good although, I'm not sure which model would be best.

Thanks
