It’s that time of year again—time to register for Autodesk University and start packing your schedule with AutoCAD sessions.

This year, AutoCAD 2019 debuted not only new features and enhancements but the biggest additions of all: specialized toolsets! At AU, we’ll explore what these toolsets mean to you and your projects. Here, we’ve compiled some of the sessions that might pique your interest even further. Don’t delay because sessions fill up fast.

Toolset Time

Ready to dig into the toolsets? These sessions will start you down the path of toolset success.

• Using AutoCAD Toolsets: To Infinity and Beyond!
  Buzz Lightyear isn’t hosting this session. But it comes close because our AutoCAD team heroes Volker Cocco, Quentin Contreras, and Vinod Kumar Balasubramanian will teach everything you need to know to get started with the seven specialized toolsets.
• Wielding the Power of One AutoCAD Toolsets: Utilize Toolsets Content and Standards
  With great power comes great responsibility—or at least knowing how to use it. The AutoCAD team’s Sridhar Subramani and Vinod Kumar Balasubramanian walk you through the procedures using specialized toolsets to design from start to finish, including how to use standard content in Architecture and MEP toolsets, Bill of Materials in the Mechanical toolset, along with wiring diagrams and reporting from AutoCAD Electrical software to simplify and accelerate your design process.

AutoCAD 2019 got electrified with the inclusion of the Electrical toolset. Want to know what it’s all about? Take a look at this session.

• Only One. AutoCAD: Feeling the Spark for the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset
  Interested in exploring the Electrical toolset? Tiffany Bachmeier introduces the benefits, basic concepts, converting to Electrical templates, and more.

Of course, the MAP 3D toolset in AutoCAD delivers a host of new opportunities for GIS and 3D mapping with your projects. Don’t miss this session that will put you on the, well, map!

  Working in manufacturing with AutoCAD and wishing you had more tools at your disposal? Look no further. Mike Thomas shares how to effectively learn and use the Mechanical toolset in this fast-paced class.

Plant It

The Plant 3D toolset helps you produce P&IDs, and then integrates them into a 3D plant design model. Check out this session to begin tapping into these capabilities.

• Adding the Design Power of AutoCAD Plant 3D Toolset to Your Workflow
  Autodesk’s Quentin Contreras wants to get you familiar with the Plant 3D toolset including the P&ID features. Here, he’ll share how this toolset can best fit your needs and the intelligent database-driven workflows available.
