I'm 18 years old and just started my new job working with 2D CAD anyone got any beginner tips? :)

What kinds of "tips" were you looking for exactly?

 

You mention "2D construction".  What types of construction drawings are we talking about?  How about sharing a copy of a drawing you are currently working on?

Learn keyboard shortcuts...as many as you can. Build a massive block and lisp library.  Don't be a douchebag drafter.  The longer you do it, lazy drafting and half assery becomes more prominent and easier to spot...and it will annoy you.  So don't be THAT guy.
