Did you open the linetype definition file and check to see what font or shape file was being referenced then check to see if it still exists?

Like Remark if its a text object in the linetype you can play with the X & Y offset of the text and lift up the "O"

See the other posts chances are you have use Standard and the style font has been changed so moving the o

When this happens to me, it's typically because the Standard font has somehow been redefined. To draw linetypes properly, the font size in the Standard style definition should be 0.0 (assuming the linetype uses Standard).

For some reason, whenever you import something that involves the Standard font (and many things do), it overwrites the existing definition. And when you change the definition of a linetype, you have to reload the drawing to see the change. I think.

Linetypes are stored in the drawing, try reloading the linetype first if you can find it in a lin file.

Guardrail linetypes from AeccLand.lin

*GUARD_L, Guardrail, posts on left
A,0,[CIRCLE,AECCLAND,s=.0175,r=90],.305663,[CIRCLE,AECCLAND,s=.0175,r=90]
*GUARD_R, Guardrail, posts on right
A,0,[CIRCLE,AECCLAND,s=.0175,r=270],.305663,[CIRCLE,AECCLAND,s=.0175,r=270]

While they don't use Text Styles others may.  If that doesn't fix the problem find another drawing where guardrail line still looks normal, extract the linetype definition using LT_thief.lsp or something like it, and place the linetype definition in a lin file and load it into the drawing it doesn't look right in.
