Anyone has a code to accomplish this? I am dealing with bunch of poorly converted lines from PDF that used to be AutoCAD text in the drawing. Greatly appreciated!:)

I would say no, this will not work.

Can you give a sample (piece of dwg) anyway? Who knows something is possible anyway

Some of the better PDF programs now have a decent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool.

It works best with basic font and high quality PDF resolutions.

I use PDF-XChange Editior Plus

Lower right of reply box select "Go Advanced" then scroll down to "Manage Attachments" then "Browse" and select the file then "Upload"

If you upgrade to the current version you could use the PDFSHXTEXT command to Recognize SHX Text. You may need to figure out which SHX it is and add it to Recognition Settings. If Text Style used had width factor it complicates it as well.

Yes, I know, I have to wait until the end of the year :)

It's not a routine, it's a command that was added to newer versions.
