numberOCD Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Hey guys, I'm looking for any method to have an annotative circle or dot in a dynamic block. I'm marking street lights along the highway with a circle and am throwing an attribute text with its name plate on the side in Defpoints. Is there a way to make the circular or dot shape annotative to remain 0.100 inches diameter no matter the zoom? Thanks Quote
pendean Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Not independently from your dynblock's annotative abilities, no: you will need to include sizes to manually adjust (PS use a DONUT object if you want a "dot" that sizes up and down). Quote
Dana W Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Yup, once an object is inside of a block it's just another part of the block. It's the block that is annotative itself. Quote
rkmcswain Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Is there a way to make the circular or dot shape annotative to remain 0.100 inches diameter no matter the zoom? If you draw a circle 0.1" in diameter, it will always be that size, no matter the zoom level. Perhaps you mean that you want this circle to always be the same size in screen pixels, no matter the zoom level? Like this? Quote
