DGRL
Dear coders, Most of my routines are made using Notepad++ due to the language option. I was wondering if there might be a better program to WRITE the code in? I am not talking about VLIDE that comes with certain Autodesk programs. rlx
In the end "Notepad++ is awesome!" and FREE once purchased lisplink too , had tiny lisp I had protected but lost the source and lisplink could unprotect it but for the rest it was notepad and Qedit (in the old days) so happy ( ) hunting & matching , oh boy , what a joy that was , manually counting... so I'm quite happy with with vlisp and the built-in de-bug'er meself. Besides no way I can install non-standard software here at work so its also a matter of gotta work with what I have... gr.Rlx
DGRL
@Guran Thanks for the reply It is a nice program but for me it lacks 1 important option Hihglight selected text and if applicable also to highlight the same text as selected
ziele_o2k
I use notepad++ because of syntax highlighting, and for de-bugging I use *error* with (vl-bt) inside.

If you can translate this screen shot thanks. @Ziela_o2k nice notepad++ look -i still stick to VLIDE (Vital-Lazy-IDE?) "VL"+[shift]+[Ctrl]+[spacer] , ie: apropos to speed up typing -i use most Inspect Windows to inspect documents if notepad++ has the above mentioned, why not give a try Edited April 6, 2018 by hanhphuc screen shot added
