Extrude Xref file

Hi,

 

I want to attach an Xref file into a drawing (which contains a region), and use it for extrude operation.

After doing this, if I am modifying the region from the original dwg. file it will also be updated in the file with extrude (as Xref).

 

Is this possible with VBA? I am new to it and I find it very hard to write the code (if needed) and I don't know any other way to do it.
