dbroada Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 this a problem I have had with OLE of a spreadsheet. You are pasting an image of the spreadsheet. It is particularly bad if you expand the selection - the new cells don't always ge included. As you are using 2008 why don't you use a datalink - much more reliable. Quote
CADDict Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Just highlight the cells you want, Ctrl + C, flip over to your cad drawing, Ctrl + V. It will insert what you've picked and a box will pop up asking you for a scale size and whatnot. You will also be able to double-click on the cells once it's inserted and it will pull up the spreadsheet so you can edit it. Whatever changes you make will be reflected back on the drawing. I do this every day making production tickets. Quote
chelsea1307 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 you can also use the table command and insert an autocad table and link you excell file to it. Quote
