Is this the error you are referring to?

*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "23"

I see via Audit that you also have a bad linetype. $AUDIT_BAD_LTYPE7

What is the source of the block?

This is received from our Client. How can we get rid of this bad linetupe??

Not even able to use qselect tool, gives fatal error....any suggestions??

What program did your client use to create the block?

Posted

Not Sure....The package contains some revit files as well...Client might have exported from revit & then further modified in AutoCAD.

Please do not double post. It just causes confusion and splits responses between threads making it difficult to follow the course of the conversation.

Sure, noted...Not able to reach client. Does anyone has answer to this...?

I have been unsuccessful in multiple attempts. I suggest you either redraw the block yourself or make a more determined effort to reach the client.

What I send you is just an extract from the drawing, I have several such drawings. I have attached one full drawing in below link for you, if it helps-

Are you telling us that the problem exists in all the drawings you received from your client? If that is the case then it is doubly important you contact the client.

No one else has responded to this thread, because ReMark has already given you all of the information you need.

The errors are caused by these poorly done drawings, if the methods already given by ReMark are not fixing them, not very much else can be done, the client will have to give you workable drawings.

I have contacted client, they have done solid model in revit and then exported in AutoCAd & later modified in AutoCAd. So source is revit. They can't do anything about it.

Then it looks like you will be redrawing it.

Your profile says that you are one 2010. The Revit model was probably exported to 2013 format which obviously isn't going to work well with 2010.

I joined this forum in 2010, but I am using AutoCAD 2017 now.

I still have this problem.

Only your client can solve the problem but they apparently don't care. So, what are you going to do about it?
