Hi!

Is anyone who could help me to unfold surfaces from a drawing that I have made. I want to make a RC boat.

Thank you in advance!

There are no tools in Autocad for unfolding surfaces. If you're a student, you can download Inventor which should be able to do this.

Cad 64 I have the student version (Autocad 2017)... I have and the Inventor. Could you tell me the steps, just for training (Inventor)?

Have a look at http://www.ant-ares.de.

If you can post the 3d-drawing here so I'll do it for you.

Regards

Jochen

Jochen I will appreciate if you could do this for me!

Here is and the dwg file (in solid and surfaces).

Thanks both off them!

Jochen at http://www.ant-ares.de, only for PEDIT3D has the VLX file. Not for ABD-ROLL.

Could you make the unfold for me please? I have post the dwg file.

There are some threads on CADTutor and other places on doing developments on cones, pipes, etc, if you want some old school unfolding practice.

Hi Nick36

sorry, was out this weekend.

See the attachement with the unfolded side surfaces.

Do you need the upper part too?

And - yes you are right: from the ant-ares site you only can download the full version of PEDIT3D.

Regards again fom good ©old Germany
