SRN Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I have a problem with the UCS icon. In all my drawings if I right click on the UCS icon I do not get its shortcut menu. True I can access most of it thru the command line but still... the other problem possibly related is that if I move it, rotate it or do anything using its grips i can only do it once after I have done one change it becomes unselectable. If I close then drawing saving it first then reopen it I get one more move before it happens again and I have to reopen the drawing again each time I want to make any change to the UCS. Anybody have any ideas? Quote
Dadgad Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I don't use 2018, but what you are describing certainly sounds like a bug, I doubt very much if it is a variable setting issue. As it is hard to imagine anybody opting to have it behave/misbehave thusly. In 2013 I can manipulate the UCS icon as much as I want Quote
ReMark Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 What have you done so far to troubleshoot the problem? Quote
SRN Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem. I didn't have this problem with 2015LT and I come here as your tag says "seeking knowledge" when i don't know how to do something. Quote
ReMark Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Did you install the service pack for 2018? Did you try resetting AutoCAD system settings to their default? Quote
