Edit wall, door & window styles

Hi Can someone please help me. I am trying to learn the edit wall, door & window styles and cannot find how to remove the line in plan view, please see attached image line outlined in red. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks to me like you need to make sure that the display of the wall style above and below the cut plane needs to be turned off..

 

If you need a more detailed answer, let me know and I'll try to do something on my lunchbreak tomorrow.
