ryankevin15 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Hello, So the following is an example of a very nice homerun. You can bend it and it'll move the arrow accordingly, reducing time spent drafting during clean up. I'd like to make one similar to the one attached that will allow you to show the wires associated with the circuit. For those not electrically inclined, Long line = neutral Short line = hot/1phase Long line+dot = ground I think it would be nice if you could bend the homerun like the one attached but also be able to change it using a dynamic block type setup where you can chose different circuit types based on what it is powering. Is anyone savy enough with AutoCAD to do something like this? Dynamic Homerun.dwg Quote
Ski_Me Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 This is not really a block it's a leader and honestly not that hard to make. Create a block by using a spline and draw and arrow to being with then add parameters to it. Start there then see where your at. Quote
steven-g Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 It would help if you gave some idea of the type of thing you are hoping for. A couple of sketches or variations. Dynamic Homerun (1).dwg Quote
Ski_Me Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 I like the block you made steven-g gonna use it. Quote
