Hello everbody.

I want to Calculate block area in closed area. I hope everybody help me. Thank you all read my thread. REC.jpg

Maybe someone else has a stripped down version but command c:HatL pretty much does the job although you might have to do some tweaking. Purpose of this forum besides shopping is also learning smilie.png

Can't remember how to do it in AutoCad but in Draftsight (free version) here is how it is done.

 

click on TOOLS at the top

click on INQUIRY in the drop down menu

click on GET AREA in pop out menu

LEFT click on all 4 corners of the hatched area

RIGHT click the mouse

on the COMMAND LINE it will give you the AREA & PERIMETER

It looks as if you've created a hatch to show the area needed. Select the hatch and check in Properties. It should show the area there. You can also use the AREA -> OBJECT command.
