Openning a DWG file from Excel causes AutoCAD window to be resized

Hi all,

I have an Excel sheet containing hyperlinks to some *.dwg files stored somewhere on a network drive (each CELL in Excel document has been hyperlinked to a *.dwg file).

The annoying thing is, whenever I click on a hyperlink in my Excel sheet, the correspondant *.dwg file gets opened in current AutoCAD session BUT the AutoCAD's window gets restored from its MAXIMISED size and I have to manually click and maximise the window again.

I am using Office 2010 with AutoCAD v2018.

Can anyone help solving this issue please?

It sounds like you might have the AUTOCAD properties set to run in NORMAL window size.

Might you prefer to have it set to MAXIMIZED.
