kabonski Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to color text entities (Hydrographic Survey Data) based on the text's elevation above a surface. I would like to use a defined color ramp for this. The surface which is a navigation channel has multiple levels so I can't just use one elevation to base these colors on. I can do it if I use some of the Map Workspace tools and Styles but this isn't very shareable with our clients and it takes quite a bit of setup. I'm using Civil 3D 2017. Thanks for any ideas! rkmcswain Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Using C3D only, w/o Map.... I don't know of a way. I thought you might be able to use an expression, but I don't see how you can map an expression into a COLOR field of a style. Quote
