stevedrew Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Here's the deal... I have been running Civil 3d 2009 Land Desktop and it worked just fine other than it's horrible interface. The problem began when we decided to install Civil 3D 2017 to test it out. "By-the-Way" Hate it too. But what's going on is when I closed out of Civil 3D 2017 and rebooted to start working again with Civil 3D 2009 the layout functionality crashes when I click on a tab (Right or Left) to switch between layout or copy layout... It hangs up the good-ol preverbal: AutoCAD Application have stopped Working Alert. Does anyone have a clue what's going on? Can't find anything solid when I Google it. By-the way. Thanks Autodesk! rkmcswain Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Today, and for the last 5 or 6 years, AutoCAD and verticals, such as Civil 3D, work flawlessly side-by-side. But LDT 2009, Not so much if I remember correctly. Back then, multiple versions shared files and libraries, and didn't play nice together. I'd get rid of the C3D 2017 and install+test it on a VM or other PC, and uninstall/reinstall your LDT2009. Quote
