Revit Residential Template customised for Southern Africa

Hie guys

 

Ive been learning Revit on my own since its not very common in the region i come from.I always download tutorials and follow them. It has been an amazing thing especially coming from a Autocad background.

 

My problem is the tutorials i get they always in imperial units which we do not use here.Therefore i am looking for a residential template which can work nice in Southern Africa with metric units.

With the change of making a very stupid Revi'doo.. question...what if you change the units in the manage/ options tab??

This is precisely what needs to be done. Simply type UN and change the Units to Metric. Revit auto-adjusts everything, unlike AutoCAD.

Does it also change the dimensions of families aswel automatically.

Everything should reset without any problems, including Families. I believe Revit was built to handle this task very effectively.
