import IFC into AutoCAD

I'm accutaly using Civil3D but i get the feeling the Import / Export function for IFC is the same as in ACA. What i am experiencing is that IFC import will turn solids into mass elements. Is there a simple way to convert these back to solids?

 

 

Or..

 

 

What (dis)advantages has a mass element as to a Solid?

 

 

I'm trying to figure out (better) ways to work with IFC in a AutoCAD enviroment.

 

 

..O yeah.. btw. How does BricsCAD convert IFC?

only thing is that units get f*ed up with ifcexport..
