ILoveMadoka Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I am trying to register on a website that has a Solidworks and a Creo user base. Part of their registration is a question located on a website that I cannot get to load. I didn't know if anyone here can (or is willing to try) to get this page to load. I will post the link but you can see it on their page I tried adding the link to this post but is not working unless you go load it from their page so what is did was go here http://www.mcadcentral.com and I picked Register in the upper right corner it's the Random Question. (on the Registration page) On this page http://wtwh.me/aK what is large yellow word? (What a PITA!) I don't know where else to turn (you guys are always so helpful!!) I wish there was a Creo forum here since I am a total noobie. If anyone can get the page to load, can you PLEASE post the stupid word they are looking for? I am not even a user on this site and already it sucks! You can't even post feedback or use the "Contact" page without answering this stupid question!!! Grrrr:x Quote
Dana W Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 It won't help. The RANDOM word changes every time the page is refreshed. Everyone will see a different word, including you the next time you go to the page. Quote
Cad64 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Apparently their random question generator is not working, but I don't see any way to contact an Admin to let them know. I think the only option would be to find someone who is a member of that site and ask them to contact a moderator and tell them there is a problem. Edit: Just found this: http://www.mcadcentral.com/threads/28078-Problems-With-New-User-Registration. Looks like people have been having trouble registering on that site for a long time. I browsed through some of the forums and the site doesn't appear to be very active. FYI: I renamed this thread to something more descriptive. Quote
ILoveMadoka Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 is there ANYONE on here who is a member on that site? (IF there is a better, more active Creo blog, PLEASE let me know...) Quote
SLW210 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 This one has recent posting activity, I don't use the forums there but that site has a bunch of Engineering formulas and information. ENG TIPS PTC CREO FORUM Quote
SLW210 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 The PTC CREO Forums seems active, not sure of the quality of answers. I used Pro E (what they used to call CREO) years back and never cared for it. Inventor and Solidworks are much better IMHO. Quote
ILoveMadoka Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 While I do want to learn Creo to have it on my resume, I love Solidworks and find Creo quite frustrating with it's methodology. Where I work, the software package used on a given project is driven by our client. We don't get to pick what we use. Autocad, Solidworks, Inventor, CATIA, Creo are all used on various projects.. The more applications you know, the more valuable you are... ;-) Thanks for the info! Quote
ILoveMadoka Posted November 9, 2016 Author Posted November 9, 2016 It won't help. The RANDOM word changes every time the page is refreshed. Everyone will see a different word, including you the next time you go to the page. Sorry but this is NOT the case. The page does not load. I can post an image of the error... I just wanted to see if someone else could get the page to load for them (to see if the problem on my end?) Quote
